City Fee Proposal It is extremely difficult to submit a "Fee Proposal' at this stage in the selection process. There are many issues that remain unknown such as the final size of the project, the level of quality desired in terms of finishes, contractual terms involving scope and risk, and materials, the final scope of services required by the City and others. Once these issues has been discussed and agreed upon, a detailed Fee Proposal can begin to be developed. For general planning and budgeting purposes, it has been our experience that the smaller the project, the higher the percentage fee. Our experience on simi- lar governmental projects has shown that the indus- try average among firms that design these types of facilities for full service A/E fees will typically vary between 7.5% and 9 %, depending upon some of the variables referenced above. On the following page, we have also included a copy of our Standard Billing Rates for the Calendar Year 2001 for your review. Although there are a variety of job classifications shown on this schedule, not all job classifications will be used or needed on your project. We will use only those individuals necessary to provide the City of Sunny Isles with the quality of service that it needs and desires.
