PERSONALIZED QUALITY CONSULTING <br />L A N D S C A P E A R C H I T E C T U RE <br />Sandy Ridge Sanctuary <br />' Coral Springs, Florida <br />'This 38 -acre environmentally sensitive land (ESL) park site in Coral Springs includes bicycle and walking <br />trails, interpretive signage, picnic and play areas, as well as native habitat restoration plantings and <br />preservation of critical gopher tortoise habitat. A management plan for the sanctuary was prepared by <br />MLA for the Florida Communities Trust (FCT) that provided approximately $2 million of grant support for <br />' this project. <br />Weston Athletic Park <br />Weston, Florida <br />A 102 -acre regional sports park <br />in Weston that includes fields <br />for baseball, softball, soccer, <br />basketball and roller hockey. <br />Community coordination was <br />critical to the successful design <br />of the park in order to ascertain <br />the necessary amenities <br />required to support rapidly <br />developing West Broward <br />County.
