OFFICE STAFF OVERVIEW <br />PRECONSTRUCTION PHASE <br />The following individuals will guide your firm throughout the preconstruction phase of this assignment. <br />ij <br />LEN MARTLING/DIVISION PRESIDENT <br />Len is a graduate of Kent State University. He has more than 29 years of <br />construction industry experience, 20 of them with our firm. Len has <br />— <br />supervised concurrent projects exceeding $400 million in construction <br />cost since becoming Division President. He oversees all management <br />activities associated with preconstruction, construction, marketing and <br />accounting. Len also manages day -to -day activities related to resource <br />allocation, quality of service provided, and client satisfaction. <br />TOM BORDEN/MANAGER, CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS <br />Tom is a graduate of Colorado State University. He has more than 22 <br />years of construction industry experience, 15 of them with our firm. In <br />his role as the Manager of Construction Operations for our Florida <br />Division, Tom is responsible for overseeing staffing assignments, <br />employee training, and reviewing initial project plans as they relate to <br />staging and logistics, cost and schedule analysis, quality and safety <br />control, and owner and subcontractor negotiations. Most importantly, <br />Tom will oversee the transition period from preconstruction to <br />construction, assuring a smooth turnover. <br />GARY HENNINGS/VICE PRESIDENT, PRECONSTRUCTION <br />Gary is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He has more than 26 <br />years of construction industry experience, 25 of them with our firm. Gary <br />was a catalyst in starting our Florida Division office more than 23 years <br />ago. As Vice President of Preconstruction, Gary's responsibilities include <br />managing and coordinating all aspects associated to preconstruction, <br />including staffing assignments, design review, systems and cost analysis, <br />to name a few. Gary has overseen preconstruction activities for more <br />than 40 commercial office projects in South Florida including those for <br />the City of Port St. Lucie, Motorola, South Florida Water Management, <br />and Florida Power & Light. <br />BOB STOUT/PROJECT ESTIMATOR <br />Bob Stout is a graduate of the Cornell College. He has more than 25 <br />years of construction industry experience, 4 of them with our firm. As <br />Project Estimator, Bob will manage and coordinate all functions during <br />Preconstruction, including budget estimating, digitized take -offs, <br />document and scope review, value analysis, Subcontractor <br />prequalification and solicitation, cost model preparation, and variance <br />reporting, .to name a few. Bob has overseen the estimating process for a <br />number of commercial office projects in both the private and public <br />sectors. <br />ij <br />
