DOUG JUST PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT As Project Superintendent for the Florida Division of The Weitz Company, Doug Just is responsible for supervising all of the work that our firm puts in place in the field, including that of our subcontractors. Additional duties include managing all site quality and safety issues, on- site schedule management, staging and logistics planning, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite record - keeping. In general, our Project Superintendent is the on -site representative with the authority to speak and make decisions for our firm. Apprenticeship EXPERIENCE Mr. Just has more than 21 years of construction industry experience, 18 of them with The Weitz Company. Prior to his current role as Project Superintendent, Doug held the positions of Assistant Superintendent, Carpenter Foreman, and Labor Foreman. Doug's extensive building experience includes both new construction and renovation projects. He is well versed with design /build, general construction, and construction management assignments. His projects have ranged in size and complexity and include commercial office buildings, warehouse and manufacturing facilities, hotels and resorts, retail establishments, educational centers, retirement communities, country clubs, and multi -phase campus style projects, to name just few.
