1 <br />ii <br />r <br />t <br />Interagency Coordination <br />& Broward County <br />Traffic Engineering <br />As part of our municipal traffic <br />engineering contract with the <br />City of Weston, the Calvin, <br />Giordano & Associates staff has <br />been very pro- active in working <br />with Florida Department of <br />Transportation (FDOT) and <br />Broward County Traffic <br />Engineering Division staff in <br />addressing operational and <br />safety issues on State and <br />County jurisdictional roadways <br />serving the local community. <br />One such example is the <br />intersection of Arvida Parkway <br />at State Road 84 in which full - <br />color signal operation was <br />approved by FDOT based on a <br />comprehensive series of signal <br />warrant studies undertaken by <br />the Calvin, Giordano & <br />Associates staff with assistance <br />from the Broward Sheriffs Office <br />Traffic Unit and the FDOT <br />District Safety Office.
