SECTION 01146 <br />SPECIAL COORDINATION <br />FRANCHISED AND OTHER PRIVATE FACILITY COORDINATION <br />CONTRACTOR shall contact the following classes of franchised utilities and private facility companies and those <br />specifically identified on the Plans, 48 hours prior to beginning the Work. <br />1) TelephoneCompany(s) <br />2) Electric Power <br />3) Cable Television <br />4) Gas Company <br />5) Pipeline <br />6) Water Company(s) <br />In addition CONTRACTOR shall call for line locate through "Call Before You Dig ", "Sunshine" or U.N.C.L.E. <br />' (Utility Notification Center Liaison Excavators) or other similar organizations. CONTRACTOR shall assist in <br />whatever means necessary the franchised utilities to locate vertically and horizontally existing facilities. This may <br />include without being limited to: <br />1) Probing <br />2) Excavating <br />3) Sounding <br />END OF SECTION <br />01146-1 <br />
