SECTION 02841 <br />SIGNAGE <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. Section includes: Signage indicated on drawings and specified in this section. <br />1.02 REFERENCES <br />A. National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) "Metal <br />Finishes Manual ". <br />B. American Welding Society <br />AWS Dl.1 "Structural Welding Code, Steel ", and <br />AWS D1.2 "Structural Welding Code, Aluminum ". <br />C. Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) <br />Standards for Safety, UL Publication 48 "Electric Signs ". <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit properly identified manufacturer's literature and technical data before <br />commencing Work. <br />1. Shop Drawings: Submit Shop Drawings for approval by CONSULTANT <br />Furnish elevations, details of fabrication and erection, including all materials, <br />shapes, dimensions, finishes, design loads, anchorage, and method of <br />connections. Show dimensions of letters and logo forms. Engineering plans <br />and footing details shall be signed and sealed by a state of Florida registered <br />engineer. All plans and details must meet South Florida Building Code <br />requirements including wind loading requirements. <br />2. Paint and Material Samples: Fabricator must match all custom paint and <br />materials as specified by CONSULTANT. <br />Submit (2) sets of (for review /approval by CONSULTANT) non- <br />returnable samples of each custom and standard color, material or finish <br />as specified in these design documents. Then submit (3) sets of each <br />approved custom and standard colors and finishes on the actual materials. <br />02841 -1 <br />
