In the event that the manufacturer is unwilling to provide a one year warranty <br />commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor shall obtain <br />from the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty commencing at the time of <br />equipment delivery at the job site. <br />1.07 HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS PLAN <br />A. Within thirty days of the date of Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall <br />submit to the Engineer and Owner a Hurricane Preparedness Plan. The plan <br />should outline the necessary measures which the Contractor proposes to <br />perform at no additional cost to the Owner in case of a hurricane warning. <br />The plan shall detail these measures with specific action items defining <br />responsible personnel. <br />B. In the event of inclement weather, or whenever Engineer shall direct; <br />Contractor will cause Subcontractors to protect carefully the Work and <br />materials against damage or injury from the weather. If, in the opinion of the <br />Engineer, any portion of Work or materials shall have been damaged or <br />injured by reason of failure on the part of Contractor or any Subcontractor to <br />so protect the Work, such Work and materials shall be removed and <br />replaced at the expense of the Contractor. <br />B.
