1 <br />B. Copies of working drawings as noted in subparagraph 1.06A above, <br />shall be submitted to the Engineer where required by the Contract <br />Documents or requested by the Engineer, and shall be submitted at <br />least thirty (30) calendar days (unless otherwise specified by the <br />IEngineer) in advance of their being required for work. <br />C. Working drawings shall be signed by a Registered Professional <br />' Engineer, currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida and shall <br />convey, or be accompanied by, calculation or other sufficient <br />' information to completely explain the structure, machine, or system <br />described and its intended manner of use. Prior to commencing such <br />work, working drawings must have been reviewed without specific <br />exceptions by the Engineer, which review will be for general <br />conformance and will not relieve the Contractor in any way from his <br />responsibility with regard to the fulfillment of the terms of the <br />' Contract. All risks of error are assumed by the Contractor; the Owner <br />and Engineer shall have no responsibility therefore. <br />1 1.07 SAMPLES <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish, for the approval of the Engineer, samples <br />' required by the Contract Documents or requested by the Engineer. <br />Samples shall be delivered to the Engineer as specified or directed. <br />The Contractor shall prepay all shipping charges on samples. Materials <br />or equipment for which samples are required shall not be used in work <br />until approved by the Engineer. <br />B. Samples shall be of sufficient size and quantity to clearly illustrate: <br />1. Functional characteristics of the product, with integrally related <br />parts and attachment devices. <br />2. Full range of color, texture and pattern. <br />3. A minimum of two samples of each item shall be submitted. <br />C. Each sample shall have a label indicating <br />' <br />1. Name of Project <br />2. Name of Contractor and Subcontractor <br />3. Material or Equipment Represented <br />' 4. Place of Origin <br />5. Name of Producer and Brand (if any) <br />6. Location in Project <br />' (Samples of finished materials shall have additional marking that will <br />identify them under the finished schedules.) <br />' 07/03 01340 -6 03- 4138.A <br />
