location of concrete batch in structure, design compressive strength at <br />" 28 days, concrete mix proportions and materials, compressive breaking <br />strength and type of break for both 7 -days tests and 28 -day tests. <br />4.0 CONCRETE PILINGS AND PANELS <br />4.1 SCOPE: <br />The Work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for the <br />installation of pre- stre °sed concrete piles and pre -cast concrete panels. <br />4.2 SITE CONDITIONS: <br />The site conditions including vegetation, utilities, and existing improvements <br />are indicated on the Drawings. <br />4.3 SOIL CONDITIONS: <br />A. The CONTRACTOR is advised that a subsurface /soils investigation is not <br />available. The CONTRACTOR is advised that it is in the best interest of <br />the CONTRACTOR to have a soil investigation conducted for the purpose <br />of determining pile and panel driving conditions and requirements. <br />B. The CONTRACTOR, if the CONTRACTOR so chooses, shall perform or <br />have performed at the CONTRACTOR'S expense, a soil investigation. <br />Said investigation shall be solely at the expense of the CONTRACTOR <br />and shall not be the expense of the OWNER or the ENGINEER. Should <br />the CONTRACTOR choose to have a soils investigation performed, the <br />CONTRACTOR shall provide to the ENGINEER and the OWNER copies <br />of the soils investigation report immediately upon completion. <br />C.
