Hines, MMC, City Clerk <br /> DATE: 11/17/2016 <br /> RE: Resolution Accepting the Results of the General Election <br /> Held on November 8, 2016 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> That the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution accepting the <br /> results of the General Election held on November 8, 2016. <br /> REASONS: <br /> A General Election was held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 for <br /> Residential Area Commissioner Seat 1 and Residential Area <br /> Commissioner Seat 3. This Resolution accepts the results of the <br /> General Election declaring Larisa Svechin as Residential Area <br /> Commissioner Seat 1, and Dana Goldman as Residential Area <br /> Commissioner Seat 3. It also discharges the Canvassing Board for the <br /> Run-Off Election that was not needed. <br /> The City Clerk will administer the oath to the newly elected officials, and <br /> they shall enter upon the discharge of their duties, effective thirty (30) <br /> days after the General Election, Thursday, December 8, 2016. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Description <br /> Resolution <br /> Unofficial Election Results <br /> 157 <br />
