A. Provide a minimum of 4 hours of training per system to the owner or his designated personnel. If <br />desired by the Owner, videotape the training session and provide a copy to the Owner for later <br />review, reference, and to train new employees on the operation of the systems. <br />1.8. OPERATION MANUALS <br />A. Provide upon final Owner's acceptance four (4) sets of Owner's Manuals that include the <br />following: <br />1. A complete list of all furnished equipment, with manufacturer's model numbers, broken <br />down by system. <br />2. Manufacturers operating instructions and service manual for all furnished equipment. <br />3. Revised schematics with wire numbers, and all relevant details. <br />4. Revised Contract drawings showing all device locations, cabling, and circuitry. <br />5. Results of all tests noted in the Test and Performance Verification Section of these <br />specifications. <br />1.9. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br />A. There shall be two locations for monitoring and control of the CCTV system; a security station <br />in the main lobby (ground floor), and the Police dispatch area on the second floor. The <br />monitoring stations shall be directly connected to the CCTV system feeds via a video matrix <br />switcher device. <br />1. Dispatch Monitoring Station <br />a. 2 security monitors, wall mounted, low profile <br />b. PTZ/camera control <br />c. Visible /Audible alarm indicator <br />2. Lobby Security Monitoring Station <br />a. 2 security monitors, inset into guard station furniture <br />b. PTZ/camera control <br />c. Visible /Audible alarm indicator <br />B. Camera locations shall include all locations shown on the drawings. <br />C. The failure of any PC -based component of the system(s) must not compromise the integrity of <br />the system(s). The main functions of the system(s) must continue to operate indefinitely in the <br />event of such a failure, such as, but not limited to: <br />1. CCTV control functions <br />2. Video recording <br />D. The systems shall not rely on the City's data network for normal operation. Any failure of the <br />City's data network must have minimal impact on the normal operation of the system(s). <br />8/04 17725 -3 <br />
