GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES <br />1. Poor vision can cause accidents. Report inadequate lighting, or any <br />bulbs that are not working to your supervisor. <br />2. Be sure to report any accidents to your supervisor. <br />3. When lifting heavy objects, keep your knees bent, back straight, and <br />object close to you. Be sure you know the proper method of lifting. <br />Get help when necessary. <br />4. Be sure to pay attention to all safety signs and notices. <br />S. Always post signs on wet floor areas. <br />6. Wear the right shoes; do not choose slippery soles, sandals, or other <br />inappropriate footwear. <br />7. Pour and use solvents in well - ventilated areas. <br />8. Be sure you know the location of MSDS sheets and how to find the <br />first aid information on them. <br />9. Never use defective equipment. <br />10. Wear gloves when handling caustic substances. <br />11.
