• <br />• <br />0 <br />A COPY OF THE HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM INCLUDING ALL MSDS, <br />MUST BE MADE BY THE OFFICE AND KEPT ON ALL JOB SITES. <br />VIII. HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM <br />Policy <br />The Company fully adheres to the requirements of the Occupation Safety and Health Act, as <br />well as, to all State promulgated safety legislation. Section 1910.1200 of the Act requires that a <br />Hazard Communication Program be institued to aprise all employees of chemical hazards which <br />the employee may encounter in the performance of their job. By implementation of this Hazard <br />Communication Program, CSI intends to fully comply with this standard. <br />HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM <br />A. CSI has prepared the CSI Hazard Communication Program for each site based on the <br />chemicals in use. <br />B. Site supervisors will prepare a list of all chemical products used and insert a copy of all <br />MSDS's. This list is to be kept current at all times. <br />C. A copy of the Haz Com Program should be kept at all job sites and in the office. <br />This program is to be available for employee review upon request. <br />MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. It is the account manager's responsibility to ensure that the CSI Hazard Communication <br />Program is available, has been implemented, and is enforced. <br />B. Product Labelling <br />1. The Supervisor is to ensure that all products at the site are properly labelled. All <br />unlabelled containers are to be collected for disposal. If the product cannot be <br />identified, CSI Safety and Loss Control should be contacted for disposal <br />instructions. <br />2. All products are required to have the following information on the label as a <br />minimum: <br />a. The product name and manufacturer's name, address, and phone number. <br />b. Instructions on product use. <br />c. Hazardous ingredients. <br />d. All appropriate Hazard, Warning, and Caution statements. <br />e. First aid procedures. <br />f Disposal procedures. <br />All chemical containers, including small trigger bottles, must be labelled with the <br />information as listed in 92. <br />13 <br />
