TRAINING PROCEDURES: <br />• Read and discuss with employees <br />CHEMICAL SAFETY HANDLING RULES <br />The following rules apply to all chemical products used in CSI's operations-. <br />Read all product labels before use. If you have any questions concerning product use, contact <br />supervisor. <br />Use products only as directed on the label or MSDS. <br />Always protect your hands and eyes when pouring liquids or powders. Wear protective gloves <br />and /or safety glasses as directed on the product label or MSDS. <br />When using certain aerosols, be certain to wear safety glasses, goggles or a full face shield, if <br />indicated. <br />When diluting products, be certain to mix only with water. Follow the manufacturer's <br />instructions as to dilution amounts. <br />NEVER mix two products together unless instructed on the label. • <br />NEVER use an unlabelled container. If an unlabelled container is found, report it to your <br />supervisor. <br />NEVER inhale (smell) the contents of a container to determine its contents. <br />NEVER ingest (eat or drink) any product, no matter what form it's in. Follow first aid <br />instructions on the label or MSDS. <br />NEVER puncture or collapse an aerosol can. <br />All containers are to be stored covered and away from flames or intense heat. <br />Wash hands after using any chmical products, especially before eating, drinking, smoking. <br />If any product comes into contact with any body part, flush immediately with lots of water. <br />Remove any contaminated clothing.
