• <br />PURPOSE <br />CLEANING SYSTEMS, INC. <br />DRUG -FREE WORKPLACE PROGRAM <br />Cleaning Systems, Inc. is committed to maintain a safe, healthy and productive work environment for all its <br />employees; to provide professional services for its customers in a timely and efficient manner; to maintain the integrity and <br />security of its equipment and workplace; and to perform all these functions in a fashion consistent with the interests and <br />concerns of the community. <br />Pursuant to these corporate goals, Cleaning Systems, Inc. is committed to establishing a Drug -Free Workplace <br />Program to ensure that we will have a drug -free workplace. This program is intended to comply with the Drug -Free <br />Workplace Program requirements set forth in Section 440.102, Florida Statues (F.S.) and the implementing regulations <br />(F.A.C. Ch. 38F -9) promulgated by the State of Florida, Department of Labor and Employment Security, Division of <br />Workers Compensation. <br />To enforce the Company's drug and alcohol free policies and programs, candidates for employment and current <br />employees can be required to submit to substance abuse testing under certain circumstances set forth herein. <br />ll. SCOPE <br />The policy described herein applies to candidates for employment and to Company employees in all job <br />classifications at all locations. <br />III. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />0 The effective date of Cleaning Systems, Inc. Drug -Free Workplace is July 1, 1997 <br />IV. POLICY <br />A. It is the policy of CSI, that the unlawful possession, use, consumption, sale, purchase distribution,dispensation <br />or manufacture by any employee of alcohol or any illegal drugs or illegally obtained drugs in the workplace, on <br />Company premises or within its facilities, in the conduct for Company - related work off Company premises, or when <br />operating company vehicles on or off duty, is strictly prohibited. <br />B. Nor will the Company permit any employee to report to work or to perform his or her duties while taking <br />prescribed drugs which adversely affect a persons ability to safely and effectively perform his or her job functions. <br />Employees are required to notify supervisor of all such drug use. <br />C. The Company also does not permit any employee to report to work or to perform his or her duties while taking <br />prescribed drugs which adversely affect a persons ability to safely and effectively perform his or her job functions. <br />Employees are required to notify supervision of all such drug use. <br />D. It is a condition of employment to abide by the terms of the aforementioned policy. <br />E. Any employee who violates the aforementioned policy is subject to disciplinary action up to and including <br />discharge. <br />V. TYPES OF TESTING <br />A. PRE - EMPLOYMENT TESTING <br />Applicants for employment who have received an offer of a job contingent on successfully passing a drug test. <br />1 <br />
