71 <br />' <br />G. <br />Arrange storage in a manner to provide easy access for inspection. Make periodic <br />inspections of stored Products to assure that Products are maintained under specific <br />shall start the equipment, at least half load, once weekly for an adequate period of time to <br />insure that the equipment does not deteriorate from lack of use. <br />' <br />H. <br />Protection After Installation: <br />F. All materials which, in the opinion of the Engineer, have become so damaged as to be <br />unfit for the use intended or specified shall be promptly removed from the site of the <br />' <br />work, and the Contractor shall receive no compensation for the damaged material or its <br />damage from traffic and subsequent construction operations. Remove covering <br />when no longer needed. <br />1. <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for all materials, equipment, and supplies sold and <br />delivered to the Owner under this Contract until final inspection of the work and <br />acceptance thereof by the Owner. In the event any such material, equipment, and supplies <br />' <br />are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed prior to final inspection and acceptance, the <br />Contractor shall replace same without additional cost to the Owner. <br />J. <br />Should the Contractor fail to take proper action on storage and handling of equipment <br />supplied under this Contract within seven days after written notice to do so has been <br />given, the Owner retains the right to correct all deficiencies noted in previously <br />transmitted written notice and debit the cost associated with these corrections from the <br />Contractor's Contract. These costs may be comprised of expenditures for labor, equipment <br />usage, administrative, clerical, engineering and any other costs associated with making the <br />' <br />necessary corrections. <br />1.07 SUBSTITUTIONS AND PRODUCT OPTIONS <br />1 A. Products List: <br />1. Within 30 days after the effective date of the Agreement, submit to the Engineer a <br />complete list of major products proposed to be used, with the name of the <br />manufacturer and the installing subcontractor. <br />B. Contractor's Options: <br />1. For Products specified only by reference standard, select any product meeting that <br />standard. <br />2. For Products specified by naming several products or manufacturers, select any <br />one of the products or manufacturers named, which complies with the <br />specifications. <br />1 12/04 01600 -4 03 -4138 <br />
