<br />, <br /> <br />manufacturer's name, or by catalog reference, use only such item, unless written approval for <br />substitution is secured. <br /> <br />.7 No portion of the Work requiring submission of Submittals shall be commenced or <br />fabricated by the Contractor except at the Contractor's own risk, until the Submittal has been <br />reviewed by the City. All such portions of the Work shall be in accordance with reviewed <br />Submittals. <br /> <br />.8 By approving and submitting Shop Drawings, Product Data, Manuals and Samples, etc. <br />the Contractor represents that the Contractor has determined and verified all materials, field <br />measurements, and field construction criteria and that the Contractor has checked and <br />coordinated the information contained within such submittals with the requirements of the Work <br />and of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall adhere to any supplementary processing <br />and scheduling instructions pertaining to Shop Drawings, which may be issued by the City. <br /> <br />.9 Parts and details not fully indicated on the contract drawings shall be detailed by the <br />Contractor in accordance with standard engineering practice. Dimensions on the Contract <br />Drawings, as well as detailed drawings themselves are subject in every case to measurements of <br />existing, adjacent, incorporated and completed work, which shall be taken by the Contractor <br />before undertaking any work dependent on such data. <br /> <br />3.8.6 By approving and submitting Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar <br />submittals, the Contractor represents such Submittals strictly comply with the requirements of <br />the Contract Documents and that the Contractor has determined and verified field measurements <br />and field construction criteria related thereto, that materials are fit for their intended use and that <br />the fabrication, shipping, handling, storage, assembly and installation of all materials, systems <br />and equipment are in accordance with best practices in the industry and are in strict compliance <br />with any applicable requirements of the Contract Documents. Contractor shall also coordinate <br />each Submittal with other Submittals. <br /> <br />3.8.7 Contractor shall be responsible for the correctness and accuracy of the dimensions, <br />measurements and other information contained in the Submittals. In the event Submittals have <br />been rejected two or more times as a result of the Contractor's failure to submit the proper <br />documentation, the Contractor shall be responsible for the cost associated with the AlE's review. <br />The Contractor shall make corrections required by the City and shall resubmit the required <br />number of corrected copies of Submittals. The Contractor shall direct specific attention, in <br />writing or on resubmitted Submittals, to revisions other than those requested by the City on <br />previous Submittals. Resubmittals necessitated by required corrections due to Contractor's errors <br />or omissions shall not be cause for extension of Contract Time. <br /> <br />3.8.8 Each Submittal will bear a stamp or specific indication that the Submittal complies with the <br />Contract Documents and Contractor has satisfied its obligations under the Contract Documents <br />with respect to Contractor's review and approval of that Submittal. Each Submittal shall bear the <br />signature of the representative of Contractor who approved the Submittal, together with the <br />Contractor's name, City's name, number of the Project, and the item name and specification <br />section number. <br /> <br />., <br />16 I <br />
