Royo, President <br />Shoreline Foundation, Inc. <br />2781 Southwest 56th Avenue <br />Pembroke Park, Florida 33023 <br /> <br />RE: Historic Sunny Isles Beach/ Newport Fishing Pier <br />Demolition and Reconstruction Project/RFP No. 10-07-02 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Royo: <br /> <br />On December 9, 2010, City of Sunny Isles Beach staff met with representatives from <br />Shoreline Foundation, Inc. (Shoreline) to finalize discussions related the Agreement issued <br />for RFP No. 10-07-02 for the Demolition and Reconstruction of the Newport Fishing Pier. <br />Several terms of the Agreement were discussed and understood and agreed upon. Below <br />are those items that Shoreline requested be placed in writing: <br /> <br />1. Asto Supplemental Provision 3.2.6, it was discussed that this element should remain as <br />submitted by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />2. As to Supplemental Provision 3.2.7, it has been stricken as requested by Shoreline. <br />Please initialize the stricken provision on both original documents provided. <br />3. 'As to Article 25, Section 25.2 and Article 39 of the Contract, please note that Shoreline's <br />response to RFP No. 10-07-02 indicates that a $40,000.00 permit allowance has been <br />incorporated as part of the overall price of the project. Any project scope deviation <br />resulting from the permit review process that results inan additional expense to the <br />Contractor above the $40,000.00 allowance will be reimbursed or paid by the City upon <br />written submission and Justification by the Contractor. <br /> <br />I would appreciate it if you could execute the Agreements attached to this transmittal and <br />return them to the City, The Agreement sections that must be signed have been tabbed for , <br />your convenience.
