Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Susan Simpson, Cultural and Community Services <br /> Director <br /> DATE: 11/17/2016 <br /> Ratify an Agreement with Miami Christmas Lights for <br /> RE: Holiday Lighting and Decor in the Amount Not to Exceed <br /> $195,000 for a 3 year Term <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> This item is presented for your consideration. <br /> REASONS: <br /> The City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to create a spectacular, festive <br /> atmosphere for the holiday's in the park for all to enjoy. To create a <br /> unique attraction for our residents and visitors, a custom piece was <br /> designed and created specifically for the City. This custom piece will be <br /> assembled, removed, stored and reassembled for 3 consecutive years <br /> under this agreement without a price increase. <br /> This three year agreement in the total amount of $195,000 includes the <br /> 3 year commitment for the custom piece as well as lighting of the park. <br /> The total for year one is $60,000.00, years two and three are <br /> dependent upon the level of lighting selected and is expected to be no <br /> greater than up to $65,000 in year two and up to $70,000 in year three <br /> to be billed based on the City's specific order. <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> This item is a piggyback from the City of Fort Lauderdale agreement <br /> 321 <br />
