RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - Rlo2) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING A PAYMENT TO ATLANTIC BROADBAND FOR PLACEMENT OF NEW UNDERGROUND COMMUNICATION LINES FOR THE SOLE ON THE OCEAN HOTEL AND CHATEAU BEACH RESIDENCES FROM 17275 TO 17555 COLLINS AVENUE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS ($62,095.00); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Atlantic Broadband informed the City of the proposed Atlantic Broadband placement of underground facilities in the City; and WHEREAS, the proposed job involved the placement of aerial lines underground for the Sole-on the Ocean Hotel ("Sole") and Chateau Beach Residences ("Chateau") from 17275 to 17555 Collins Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City authorized Atlantic Broadband to provide said services for the placement of underground lines for the Sole and Chateau from 17275 to 17555 Collins Avenue, and paid them an amount not to exceed Sixty-Two Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars ($62,095.00). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ratifying the Payment. The City Commission hereby ratifies the payment made to Atlantic Broadband for the placement of underground lines for the Sole on the Ocean Hotel and Chateau Beach Residences from 17275 to 17555 Collins Avenue, and paid them an amount not to exceed Sixty-Two Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars ($62,095.00). Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 3. Effective Date.
