RESOLUTION NO. 2016-2 635 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH CULTURAL MASTER PLAN AS <br /> CREATED BY AEA CONSULTING, LLC, ATTACHED HERETO <br /> AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br /> RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach was in need of professional consulting <br /> services to develop and create the City's first Cultural Master Plan, and issued and advertised <br /> RFP No. 15-08-01 to Create a Cultural Master Plan, and received five (5) bids, and it was <br /> determined that AEA Consulting, LLC. was the lowest responsible, responsive bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 17, 2015 via Resolution No. 2015-2502, the City Commission <br /> awarded Bid No. 15-08-01 to and entered into an Agreement with AEA Consulting, LLC. for the <br /> development and creation of the City's Cultural Master Plan, in an total amount not to exceed <br /> One Hundred Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars ($136,000.00), which included reimbursable expenses <br /> in an amount not to exceed Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($17,700.00).; and <br /> WHEREAS, AEA Consulting, LLC. has developed and created the final draft of the <br /> City's first Cultural Master Plan, and the City being satisfied with the Plan now wishes to <br /> approve the Cultural Master Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit"A". <br /> • <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Approval of Cultural Master Plan. The City Commission hereby approves the <br /> City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural Master Plan as created by AEA Consulting, LLC, attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit"A". <br /> Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br /> things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> Section 3. Effective Date.
