A waterfront pedestrian promenade provides a direct <br />link between the terminal and the downtown retail areas. <br />Port of Algeciras, Algeciras, Spain <br />Landscape Designer <br />CLIENT: Algeciras Port Authority <br />Responsible for the landscape master plan, which includes the conceptual <br />layout and design of a port terminal, outdoor plaza, and support facilities. <br />Strategically located landscape areas with canopy trees and shade structures <br />provide a welcome oasis to passengers waiting to board ferry ships bound for <br />the Mediterranean Sea. <br />Entertainment/Recreational <br />181st Drive Active Park, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br />Project Manager /Landscape Architect <br />CLIENT: City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Responsible for the design and coordination of a multi - disciplinary landscape <br />architecture lead active park project that provided a two story recreation <br />building, gymnasium, little league baseball field and playground. Prepared <br />conceptual plans through construction documents and coordinated with in- <br />house disciplines as well as sub - consultants. <br />Plantation Preserve, Plantation, Florida <br />Deputy Project Manager /Landscape Architect <br />CLIENT: City of Plantation <br />Responsible for the design and coordination of a multi - disciplinary golf course <br />renovation project. This historic private golf course was purchased by the City <br />of Plantation to be converted into a world class public course and linear park <br />with emphasis on the South Florida natural wetland environment. By <br />introducing a linear park feature along the 200 acre course, this green space <br />seldom experienced by non - golfers, became a welcome link to other recreational <br />open spaces within the City. Close coordination with the Golf Course architect <br />and Clubhouse architect provided for the successful design of a world class golf <br />course. <br />Cerrillos Lake Dam, Ponce, Puerto Rico <br />Landscape Designer <br />CLIENT: Army Corps of Engineers <br />Prepared preliminary site plans for five recreational areas within a mountainous <br />terrain and lake setting. Activities included active /passive sports, camping, <br />and equestrian trails. The shores of a lake created by a large stone damn provide <br />a beautiful setting for the aforementioned activities. <br />Resort/Hotel <br />Diplorpat Resort & Country Club, Hallandale Beach, Florida <br />Project Manager /Landscape Architect <br />CLIENT: Plumbers and Pipefitters International Union <br />Responsible for all landscape architectural documents from concept through <br />permitting and construction administration. Landscape architectural scope <br />included the design of two swimming pools, seven fountains, pedestrian and <br />EDAW INC DESIGN, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTS WORLDWIDE <br />
