Todd Wax;'' Survey Technician Todd Wood is a Survey Technician in the Fort Lauderdale office. Mr. Wood is experienced in Survey CADD and has experience interpreting, calculating, and creating surveys, right -of -way maps, control surveys, project network control sheets, and topographic maps. He also has experience with various types of GPS and hydrographic surveying. He has worked on numerous FEMA surveys and hydrographic survey of canals throughout Miami -Dade County and the Port of Miami. Relevant Project Experience Oakland 'Bark,' Oakland Park, FL; Survey Technician. Carter & Burgess was commissioned to develop, design, and permit plans for the City's first Dog Park, located on a 2.5 -acre abandoned police and sheriff's training site. Additionally the site included two fully operational radio transmission towers with their continued operation incorporated into the site design. This will help fund on -going development and maintenance for the site with the largest portion of the project funding coming from Florida's FRDAP Grant program. Carter & Burgess is providing services for the new project including design and construction documents for two large and separate canine fitness courses with 18 exercise stations, new parking and lighting, picnic shelters, a management office kiosk, a pet wash -down station, as well as unique signage, fencing, and access control features to ensure safe and friendly operations. Construction commenced in 2005 and should be completed in 2006. Seaview Park Club, Boynton Beach, FL; Survey Technician. Seaview Park Club is a 3.76 -acre site, located on US 1 in Boynton Beach, Florida adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. Lennar Homes hired Carter & Burgess to prepare land development plans for this former mobile home park, which is now planned for 64 luxury condominiums with private garages, a resort style amenities center including a swimming pool, a group bar -b -que shelter, waterside fishing deck, and exercise facilities. The design challenges for the site, which is approximately 160 feet in width and more than 1,000 feet in depth, were successfully met with site planning that provided for safe vehicular and pedestrian circulation, while maintaining magnificent views to the Intracoastal waterway. The project was given development approvals by the City in early 2005 and final permitting will be complete in 2006. Strok Property, Oakland Park, FL; Survey Technician. Providing engineering and survey services for the final design of a 19.42 -acre property. Engineering services include due diligence, environmental, drainage, utilities, and site development.
