Carter & Burgess currently employs more than 2,700 <br />people in approximately 30 offices across the nation, with over 120 people in four <br />Florida offices located in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Tampa. <br />Our local staff in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices provides a wide range of <br />services including traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban design and <br />planning, land development, municipal services, landscape architecture, survey <br />and transit planning and design. Currently, we serve as the traffic engineering consultant to the <br />City of Sunrise and general engineering consultant to the City of Oakland Park. Completed projects combine the experience and knowledge of <br />imaginative urban designers and landscape architects with the technical input <br />of the engineering disciplines. Our staff has experience with municipal, county, <br />state, and private sector clients in developing urban and landscape master plans. <br />These projects involve active and passive parks, landscaping of local and arterial <br />street systems, scenic highways, and review of landscaping plans with respect <br />to prevailing codes and roadway design standards. We also have extensive <br />experience in hardscape and decorative amenities, signage walls and monument <br />signing. <br />
