(e) Attendance Policy: The City's attendance policy for members of boards and committees provide that, if a member fails to attend three (3) duly noticed meetings of such groups without being excused for good cause, the member may be removed from his or her seat automatically. A board member or committee member may not be removed from his or her seat unless the City Clerk certifies that the member has failed to attend three (3) duly noticed meetings. Committee duly noticed meetings of the board and committees include regular scheduled meetings and any special meetings. The City Commission finds that personal illness, family emergencies, military absences, family weddings, family graduation exercises, and bona fide business and vacation trips constitute good cause for nonattendance at a duly noticed meeting. Section 3. Selection of Board Members. The City Commission hereby approves the following appointments (individual appointments attached as Exhibit "A") to the Historic Preservation Board for calendar years 2017 and 2018: _ Name Title Arie Steiger Chairperson Shari Blank Member Dione Del Monico Member Tim Lanham Member Warren J. The Board shall provide the Clerk of the Courts and the Miami-Dade Historic Preservation Chief with a report regarding the activities of the Board over the year. Section 5. Rules of Procedure. The Board shall be governed by the Rules of Procedure that govern the City Commission, and subject to Florida's Sunshine and Public Records Law and Financial Disclosure requirements. Section 6.
