B. After uncovering work, inspect conditions affecting installation of Products, <br />or performance of work. <br />C. Report unsatisfactory or questionable conditions to the Engineer in writing; <br />do not proceed with work until the Engineer has provided further <br />instructions. <br />3.02 PREPARATION <br />A. Provide adequate temporary support as necessary to assure structural <br />value or integrity of affected portion of Work. <br />B. Provide devices and methods to protect other portions of Project from <br />damage. <br />C. Provide protection from elements for that portion of the project that may <br />be exposed by cutting and patching work, and maintain excavations free <br />from water. <br />3.03 PERFORMANCE <br />A. Execute cutting and demolition by methods that will prevent damage to <br />other work, and will provide proper surfaces to receive installation of <br />repairs. <br />B. Execute excavating and backfilling by methods that will prevent settlement <br />or damage to other work. <br />C. Employ original Installer or Fabricator to perform cutting and patching for: <br />1. Weather- exposed or moisture - resistant surfaces. <br />2. Sight- exposed finished surfaces. <br />D. Execute fitting and adjustment of products to provide a finished <br />installation to comply with specified products, functions, tolerances and <br />finishes. <br />E. Restore work that has been cut or removed; install new products to <br />provide completed Work in accord with requirements of Contract <br />Documents. <br />F. Fit work airtight to pipes, sleeves, ducts, conduit and other penetrations <br />through surfaces. <br />06/06 01045 -3 03-4138.0 <br />
