1 <br />1 1.05 SALVAGE <br />1 o6/as <br />01505 -4 03- 4138.0 <br />A. <br />Any existing equipment or material including but not limited to, valves, <br />pipes, fittings, couplings, etc., which is removed or replaced as a result of <br />construction under this project may be designated as salvage by the <br />Engineer or City and if so shall be excavated, if necessary, and delivered to <br />the City by a location directed by the City. Any equipment or material not <br />worthy of salvaging, as directed by the Owner, shall be disposed of by the <br />Contractor at a suitable location. <br />PART 2 - <br />PRODUCTS (Not Used) <br />PART 3 - <br />EXECUTION <br />3.01 COOPERATION WITHIN THIS CONTRACT <br />A. <br />All firms or persons authorized to perform any work under this Contract <br />shall cooperate with the General Contractor and his subcontractors or <br />trades, and shall assist in incorporating the work of other trades where <br />necessary or required. <br />B. <br />Cutting and patching, drilling and fitting shall be carried out where required <br />by the trade or subcontractor having jurisdiction, unless otherwise indicated <br />herein or directed by the Engineer. <br />3.02 PROTECTION OF CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT <br />A. <br />All newly constructed work shall be carefully protected from injury in any <br />way. No wheeling or walking or placing of heavy loads on it shall be allowed <br />and all portions injured shall be reconstructed by the Contractor at his own <br />expense. <br />END OF SECTION <br />1 o6/as <br />01505 -4 03- 4138.0 <br />
