1 2.03 TEMPORARY WATER <br />t <br />is <br />1 <br />A. Arrange with the Owner to provide water for construction purposes. <br />B. Install branch piping with taps located so that water is available throughout <br />the construction by the use of hoses. <br />C. Install at each and every connection to the Owner water supply a backflow <br />preventor meeting the requirements of ANSI A40.6, latest revision. <br />Contractor shall be required to meter all water used. <br />2.04 TEMPORARY SANITARY FACILITIES <br />A. Provide sanitary facilities in compliance with laws and regulations. <br />B. Service, clean and maintain facilities and enclosures. <br />2.05 TEMPORARY HEAT AND VENTILATION <br />A. Provide temporary heat and ventilation as required to maintain adequate <br />environmental conditions to facilitate progress of the Work, to meet <br />specified minimum conditions for the installation of materials, and to <br />protect materials and finishes from damage due to temperature or <br />humidity. <br />B. Provide adequate forced ventilation of enclosed areas for curing of <br />installed materials, to disperse humidity, and to prevent hazardous <br />accumulations of dust, fumes, vapors or gases. <br />C. Portable heaters shall be standard approved units complete with controls. <br />D. Pay all costs of installation, maintenance, operation and removal, and for <br />fuel consumed. <br />E. Provide connections to existing facilities, extend and supplement with <br />temporary units as required to comply with requirements. Pay all costs of <br />installation, maintenance, operation and removal. Owner will pay costs of <br />fuel used from the existing system. <br />2.06 TEMPORARY TELEPHONE SERVICE <br />07/06 <br />r <br />A. Arrange with local telephone service company, provide direct line <br />telephone service at the construction site for the use of personnel and <br />employees.
