BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />In collaboration with Civica Design, Johnson <br />Engineering provided landscape architectural <br />services for facility improvements including <br />landscape and irrigation design within an 8.6- <br />acre area of Live Like Bella Park in <br />Homestead, FL. The design consisted proposed <br />irrigated landscape areas, compliant with City <br />of Homestead Landscape Ordinance, around <br />exiting building additions and new building <br />structures and existing parking lots, for <br />aesthetic enhancement while highlighting <br />vehicular and pedestrian entry access points <br />with new bold landscaping accents. Johnson <br />Engineering analyzed existing tree locations <br />and potential impact by construction for tree removal and relocation opportunities. The landscape architectural team also <br />considered the LEED vegetative open space by selecting a proposed plant palette consisting of drought tolerant, native, <br />and Florida Friendly plant material and designing a water-efficient drip irrigation system for project sustainability. <br /> <br />Project Cost: $15,000 <br />Related Discipline: Landscape Design, Irrigation Design, Tree Survey, Land Surveying <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
