The landscape architectural <br />team will verify wayfinding trail and existing regulatory signage locations using field <br />GPS data and existing condition plans. Johnson Engineering’s services include field <br />work to assess and verify sign locations, conditions, and photo documentation to <br />record the existing conditions of the signs and produce individual details of sign <br />elements such as materials, colors and fonts for long term maintenance use by <br />Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation, and Open Space. The Wayfinding Maintenance <br />Manual includes the identification, location, photographs of, construction and <br />assembly plans, and maintenance notes for the wayfinding signs along each of these <br />trails. <br />Project Cost: $33,870 <br />MIAMI-DADE PARKS, <br />RECREATION & <br />OPEN SPACES <br />Trail Wayfinding <br />Maintenance Manuals – Old <br />Cutler Trail, Snake Creek <br />Trail, Biscayne Trail A & B <br />We assisted with adoption of the Cleveland <br />Avenue Redevelopment Plan, as well as a <br />new strategy for development of property <br />within the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency. The project included inventory of <br />property data, land use, and zoning. Our team <br />assisted City staff with facilitation of an initial <br />public input meeting to arrive at property <br />owner and stakeholder preferences for the <br />corridor. We helped develop strategies for <br />low impact development incentives and <br />improved pedestrian facilities. Our GIS staff <br />and designers provided graphics to support <br />all aspects of the project.
