01119!2007 15:22 9549211496 CGA PAGE 08 <br />SECTION 00900 <br />Addendum No. 2 (January 18 2007) <br />to <br />Contract documents <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />TOWN CENTER PARK RESTROOMS AND LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS <br />CGA PROJECT NO. 06 -5723 <br />CITY BID NO. 06 -12 -01 <br />To All Bidders: <br />Bidders for the above - referenced project shall take note of the following changes, <br />additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have <br />precedence over anything shown or described otherwise. <br />IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: <br />1. In Document 13125, replace section in its entirety. <br />2. Attached Pre -Bid Minutes to be added to contract documents. <br />3. Response to Bidder` s RFI: <br />- RFI from SA Consultants, LLC: The steel building specified for this project <br />is not pre - fabricated. The manufacturer will ship building part, and the <br />general contractor shall assemble the building with the supplied parts. <br />Since the building is not pre - assembled, not only the structure but <br />also the roof, interior finishes, toilet accessories, plumbing rough -in & <br />fixtures, HVAC ducts & vents, lights and the electrical rough & panels <br />shall be installed at the site. The manufacturer will provide Architectural, <br />Structural & MEP plans & drawings after the building has been <br />purchased. Hence this will make it difficult if not impossible to come up <br />with a price for this portion of project. <br />Please advice, <br />Response: The building is pre - fabricated but not pre - assembled, it is <br />the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate what means and <br />methods are required to assemble it in conjunction with the <br />manufacture. <br />RFI from Lambert Bros. Inc.: Per RCP shelters (your specified building <br />supplier), we will need to supply a foundation designed by a certified <br />Florida Structural Engineer. Are we responsible for the structural Engineer <br />to design the foundation, or will the City take care of it? If we include the <br />cost of foundation in the proposal, what should we base our price on? <br />&Sponse: It is the responsibility of the contractor to include the <br />Structural Engineer for the foundations, The City will supply at the <br />December 2006 900 -2 <br />06 -5723 <br />
