It is our understanding that our proposal covers the annual financial and compliance audit <br />of the various funds and account groups of the City for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2007, <br />2008 and 2009. <br /> <br />Our examination of the City's financial statements will be conducted in accordance with; <br /> <br />1. Generally accepted auditing standards as set forth by the American Institute of Certified <br />Public Accountants; <br /> <br />2. The standards for financial audits set forth in the U.S. General Accounting Office's <br />Government Auditinf.! Standards (1994) issued by the U.S. General Accounting office; <br /> <br />3. The provisions of the Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended in 1996); <br /> <br />4. U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular 133 Audits of States, Local <br />Governments and Non-Profit Organizations, and; <br /> <br />5.
