Measurement and payment for roadway resurfacing will be based upon the <br />number of square yards of such roadways actually resurfaced, all in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for roadway resurfacing will be made at the unit price per square <br />yard named in the Bid Schedule, which price shall constitute full <br />compensation for roadway resurfacing, including but not limited to the <br />removal, by milling of the top :X" of existing roadway pavement, removal of <br />existing reflective pavement markers, restoration of traffic loop detectors, <br />application of tack coat, and :X" overlay of Type 8-3 asphalt in place. <br /> <br />3. Payment for maintenance and protection of traffic shall be made under the <br />maintenance and protection of traffic item named in the Bid Schedule. <br /> <br />N. <br /> <br />Furnish and Install Concrete Sidewalks - 5 foot Wide <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment for furnishing and installing sidewalks will be <br />based upon the actual number of square yards of such sidewalks constructed <br />as shown in the drawings, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for furnishing and installing sidewalks will be made at the unit price <br />per square yard named in the Bid Schedule, which price shall constitute full <br />compensation for completing said work, including all earthwork, compaction <br />and stabilization of subgrade, construction of the sidewalk, compliance with <br />current ADA regulations, furnishing and setting for expansion joint material, <br />backfilling of sidewalk, grading and complete restoration of private property <br />including sod due to installation of sidewalk, disposal of excess material, <br />protection of trees to remain, handrail where protection is needed, and the <br />appurtenant items for which separate payment is not specifically included in <br />the Bid Schedule. Excess material includes, but is not limited to, brush, <br />bollards, shrubs, concrete and any other material that inhibits the installation <br />of sidewalk. <br /> <br />Remove and Dispose of Existing Sidewalk <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment to remove and dispose of existing sidewalks will <br />be based upon the actual number of square yards of such sidewalks and/or <br />curb removed, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for removal and disposal of existing sidewalks will be made at the <br />unit price per square yard named in the Bid Schedule, which price shall <br />constitute full compensation for the removal and disposal of sidewalk and/or <br />curb, restoration of areas disturbed by the operation, complete. <br /> <br />Relocate Existing Mailbox <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment for relocation of existing mailboxes will be based <br />upon the actual number of mailboxes relocated, all in accordance with the <br />Contract Documents. <br /> <br />01025-6 <br /> <br />03-4197 <br />
