Arrange with the Owner to provide water for construction purposes. <br /> <br />B. Install branch piping with taps located so that water is available throughout the <br />construction by the use of hoses. <br /> <br />C. Install at each and every connection to the Owner water supply a backflow <br />preventor meeting the requirements of ANSI A40.6, latest revision. Contractor <br />shall be required to meter all water used. <br /> <br />TEMPORARY SANITARY FACILITIES <br /> <br />A. Provide sanitary facilities in compliance with laws and regulations. <br /> <br />B. Service, clean and maintain facilities and enclosures. <br /> <br />TEMPORARY HEAT AND VENTILATION <br /> <br />A. Provide temporary heat and ventilation as required to maintain adequate <br />environmental conditions to facilitate progress of the Work, to meet specified <br />minimum conditions for the installation of materials, and to protect materials and <br />finishes from damage due to temperature or humidity. <br /> <br />B. Provide adequate forced ventilation of enclosed areas for curing of installed <br />materials, to disperse humidity, and to prevent hazardous accumulations of dust, <br />fumes, vapors or gases. <br /> <br />C. Portable heaters shall be standard approved units complete with controls. <br /> <br />D. Pay all costs of installation, maintenance, operation and removal, and for fuel <br />consumed. <br /> <br />E. Provide connections to existing facilities, extend and supplement with temporary <br />units as required to comply with requirements. Pay all costs of installation, <br />maintenance, operation and removal. Owner will pay costs of fuel used from the <br />existing system. <br /> <br />TEMPORARY TELEPHONE SERVICE <br /> <br />A. Arrange with local telephone service company, provide direct line telephone <br />service at the construction site for the use of personnel and employees. Service <br />required: <br /> <br />1. One direct line instrument in Contractor's Field Office for Dade County. <br /> <br />2. One direct line instrument in Field Office of Engineer with local access <br />from Dade County. <br /> <br />3.
