We will provide you with borings. <br />Assistant City Managcr/Service Jorge Venl ndvised that by the time that the <br />contractor starts, he will have IfPL's design and make the dropping of tbe pipes <br />nn add-on. He advised that FPL will not drop the pipes, the contractor will. <br />FPL will not furnish thc pipes either. They will tell us how much they necd. He <br />will be having a meeting with IfPL and advise you through an addendum. <br />k. Question: You mentioned FPL. Have the utilities been moved out of the way? <br />Answer: No. We have gathercd as much information of the underground as <br />possible (i.e. field survey, contacted utilities companies, etc.). It is not an <br />extremely busy street beneath the surface but they would not be able to design a <br />straight F,PL line. There will have to be some offsets because there are items that <br />are not made parallel. Once FPL gives us their plans, a design will be included <br />and forwarded to you as an addendum. <br />/. Question: Do we have all the permits? <br />Answcr: Yes. <br />m. Question: Will the contractor be reimbursed/or the permit fees? <br />Answer: If you are talking about Building Department permit fees, we suggest <br />that you put it in your bid as it will be the contractor's responsibility. <br />n. Question: There is a quantity discrepancy be/ween bid item and actual plans. under <br />drainage pipes. <br />Answer: That may have occurred if DERM hnd instructed us to do something <br />different. There is probably less on the plans then on the bid. We will review it <br />and get you an addendum right away. <br />o. Question: Is this work to be done in accordance with FDOT spec!fications? <br />Answer: Yes, in accordance with FDOT. <br />p. Question: What about the service to light poles'! Where is the main service <br />connection,from FPL? <br />Answer: Therc is aJrendy n service plate at North Bay Road because they just <br />completed it. <br />17. The Engineer of Record for this project is Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc.
