Vera, Acting City Manager <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />1/20/2011 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Change Order #5 amending Collins A venue streetscape improvement <br />contract with Tenex Exterprises. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution to amend Tenex Enterprises <br />streetscape improvement contract for additional paver sidewalk work. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />Tenex Enterprises has entered into a contract to do streetscape improvement in several <br />areas of the City. The City requested additional paver sidewalk work to be done in the <br />area between the entrance to Atlantic Isles and Oceania development west side of Collins <br />Avenue. This work was done in connection with the other improvements occuring in the <br />area and as a continuation of paver sidewalk work done to the North. <br /> <br />Tenex Enterprises has performed the work pursuant to work order directive. The work <br />was completed in December 2010. The quote for the new paver sidewalk is for an <br />amount not to exceed $30,994.20. <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Funding is available from account number 20-600-5681 <br /> <br />A TT ACHMENTS: <br />.
