(GF) is pleased to submit this proposal to provide professional general engineering services for the following tasks as listed in the RFQ: . Structural . Environmental and Geographic Information Systems . Traffic and Transportation Engineering and Planning . General Engineering design work . Preparation of complete construction contract plans . Public Involvement . . Post design services . Bid Administration GF is a full service multi-disciplinary planning and engineering firm with more than 90 years of experience. We have been actively involved in the South Florida community for over 25 years performing transportation planning, engineering, traffic engineering, highway design, bridges, drainage, water studies, and environmental analysis. An assignment from this contract would be led by our Miami office and all correspondence should be directed to the proposed project manager: Mr. Carlos Cejas, P.E., Vice-President Gannett Fleming, Inc. 7300 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 701 Miami, FI 33126 Mr. Cejas has over 20 years of experience in transportation in South Florida and, therefore, is very familiar with local issues. He has a civil engineering degree from the University of Miami and a Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University. He has managed a multiple number of assignments ranging from planning and development studies, traffic engineering projects, highway design projects and bridge design projects. Recently, he completed studies and design for two historic bridges over navigable waterways in the City of Miami with complex permitting issues. Mr. Cejas also has excellent communication skills which have served him well during controversial projects completed for the Florida Department of Transportation, City of Miami, Miami-Dade County and others. The proposal follows the format as required and includes business overview information, a list of projects and references and an organizational chart with proposed personnel qualifications. Required forms are also included. We are anxious to work with the City on future assignments and believe we could forge a successful long term relationship.
