Universal maintains eighteen (18) offices throughout the state of Florida and one office in Atlanta, Georgia. Because of our size, we maintain a significant staff of both professional and technical personnel. Although we typically assign specific primary individuals to long- term projects, the size of our company allows for additional personnel when required to more fully meet the needs of the client. Simply stated, our company and staff is large enough to provide uninterrupted, quality services throughout the life of the project. This is an important consideration for any major project. Quality of Facilities: Universal facilities are some of the finest construction materials testing facilities within the Southeast. We designed all of our facilities specifically to support the engineering, testing and inspection services that we provide. The employees who use the laboratory facilities were consulted so the buildings and their interior designs could satisfy the need for efficient and effective testing services. . Further, we designed the buildings to satisfy the requirements of licensing and certification agencies. Our facilities are inspected regularly by the Construction and Materials Engineering Council and the Florida Department of Transportation and routinely satisfy their stringent requirements. We constantly maintain the physical facilities and calibrate our laboratory equipment to satisfy the quality assurance needs of the inspection and certification agencies. These records are available to the laboratory inspectors at their request, to verify our continued compliance.
