'.. . <br /> <br />OUTER SPACE MEETS INNER SPACE <br />Universal provides environmental remediation <br />selVices to NASA <br /> <br />Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. <br />(Universal) has provided Professional <br />Environmental Services for numerous high- <br />visibility clients, but the most widely- <br />recognized of our clients, to date, is NASA <br />(National Aeronautics and Space <br />Administration). We have been privileged to <br />work on a wide variety of challenging <br />projects for NASA. <br /> <br />Universal has completed contamination <br />assessment, remedial action plans, and <br />remediation on many projects at the <br />Kennedy Space Center. We have developed <br />and implemented plans for sampling <br />groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface <br />water in the process of investigating toxic <br />releases of a variety of contaminates and <br />sources. <br /> <br />Universal has encountered many unique <br />challenges in our experiences at NASA <br />including assessment and remediation of <br />multiple contaminate plumes in addition to <br />collecting baseline hydrogeological data for <br />protecting and preserving the sensitive <br />ecological ecosystems surrounding the <br />facility.
