EISMAN & RUSSO is certified to perform Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) and Construction Administration (CAA)/Management Services by the FOOT. E&R has a well-established CEI Program that enables us to provide our clients with the most accurate and cost-effective plans to perform the work. This program has demonstrated its efficiency in construction administration, construction inspection, invoicing, "Work the Plans and Plan the Work," ontime completion of projects, full implementation of the Specifications and Design Standards and coordinating among multiple agencies. Eisman & Russo believes that CEI is the catalyst to any project. Our firm has played this role successfully throughout the past 20 years for County, City, FOOT and Public Agencies. The result is reflected in the reputation that E&R has earned and to the many successful and on-time project completions at the State, County, and private levels. Our cost estimating personnel, backed by our CEI Group, has had broad experience in a variety of projects and in administering contracts with the City of Jacksonville, private clients and FOOT construction. This enables our firm to remain current with prevailing construction unit prices and provides us with a greater understanding of the influence of quantity . amounts on the price bids and an estimating history in line with the price bid. Of importance to note is E&R's i8-year history of extensive involvement in the CCA/CEI business; thus our ability to understand the actual costs of construction and to make that transition from theory (design) to reality. E&R is committed and willing to meet both time and budget requirements for the Projects in questions. In no uncertain terms, E&R is keenly aware that fluctuating economic and market conditions are driving the cost of prime construction materials, such as asphalt, concrete, and steel to unprecedented records high. As a result, the City of Sunny Isles Beach faces, more than ever, the challenge to deliver sound engineering projects while closely adhering to budgets and schedules, which are crucial in running a successful capital improvement program that meets the needs of the residents of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. E&R understands that current market conditions have created a drastic and volatile increase in the price of construction materials, such as steel, asphalt, and concrete. As a result, we have instituted on a company-wide basis on each design project a monthly update of our engineer's estimate to reflect current project's costs.
