Langan, founded in 1970, operates from nine offices: Elmwood Park
(corporate headquarters) and Trenton, NJ; Doylestown and Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; New
Haven, CT; Miami and Tallahassee, FL.; California, and Las Vegas, NV.

Langan Engineering and Environmental Services (Langan) is a full-service engineering and
environmental firm providing professional consulting services to clients throughout the entire State of
Florida. The ability to offer a full range of services, including site/civil engineering, geotechnical
engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering and environmental and natural
resources permitting, allows Langan to fully integrate all levels of project issues at every stage of a
project. This ability provides for a greater understanding of project issues as well as more efficient,
responsive, and cost effective project completion.

A complete understanding of project issues also allows Langan to communicate effectively with the
project team, members of the regulatory community, and the members of the general public who have a
stake in the completion of a project. Langan can respond to project needs and questions concerning a
project in a very expeditious and effective manner without compromising other aspects of the project.
Issues such as site constraints, site conditions, design parameters, and permitting matters can be
addressed at the start of a project to the benefit of the project team and other stakeholders.

Langan also has staff with experience in land development issues related to permitting, planning and
zoning, access, and other issues not always considered by other firms that provide engineering services.
Langan's staff is well-versed in all aspects of local, state, and federal permitting of complex water and
environmental related construction projects throughout Florida. This knowledge allows for the integration
of often overlooked site requirements at the beginning of the engineering design process, thus saving a
great deal of time and money for the client when the project undergoes regulatory review.

The ability to offer a full range of engineering and environmental services also allows Langan to provide
the client with a very accurate estimate of projected project design and permitting costs, regulatory fees,
and construction estimates. Langan works very closely with the client and subcontractors to insure that
all issues related to project costs and scope of work are addressed at all levels of the project.

Thus, Langan provides the client the ability to meet all project design and permitting needs in a timely,
efficient, and professional manner. Our ability to provide the vast majority of services in one location
allows the client to have to coordinate with only a limited number of contractors, thus allowing for quicker
and more effective responses to project needs.

PERSONNEL

The Miami Lakes office includes forty-three employees from various disciplines. This includes 12 Florida
Professional Engineers, 2 Florida Professional Geologists, 19 field engineers, and 2 draft/CADD
specialists. The office is supported by 5 administrative assistants, 2 interns, and 1 marketing
coordinator.

LANliAN
