These operating divisions are: <br /> <br />. Civil/Stormwater Engineering <br />. '~Transportation Engineering <br />. Grants/Legislative Assistance <br />. Subsurface Utility Locates <br /> <br />. Environmental/Utility Engineering <br />. Surveying <br />. Construction Management <br /> <br />Under these operating divisions are the following departments. <br /> <br />. Stormwater Engineering <br />. Water Engineering <br />. Land Development <br />. Transportation Engineering <br />. Survey Calculation <br />. Construction/ Bidding Services <br />. Utility Locating <br />. Cost Estimating <br /> <br />. Governmental & Utility Consulting <br />. Wastewater Engineering <br />. Permitting <br />. Value Engineering <br />. Survey Field Operations <br />. Construction Engineering/Inspection <br />. Governmental and fiscal Assistance <br /> <br />Finance and Administration provides administrative and financial services to the operating <br />divisions. These seven divisions are accountable to the President for day-to-day operations. <br />This management organization leads to streamlined communication and simplified <br />coordination. Each executive knows and understands his responsibilities and goals and those <br />of the other executives. As a result of this collective effort, "team work" has become the <br />cornerstone of the CAS management philosophy. <br /> <br />Financial state of Business: <br />Craig A. Smith & Associates, Inc. (CAS) has been providing consulting engineering services <br />to South Florida municipalities since 1980. The business is stable, profitable, and well <br />financed.
