Wohlfarth, P.E., will serve as Director of Engineering and <br />Principal in charge for NUTTING ENGINEERS OF FLORIDA, INC. for <br />this project. Mr. Wohlfarth has 19 years experience in various aspects of <br />geotechnical exploration and engineering, construction materials testing <br />and structural inspections. His experience includes determining feasibility <br />of site development, foundation design analysis and recommendations, <br />providing engineering evaluation for bridge and roadway construction, <br />pavement design for roadways, roadway sub grade stabilization by <br />geotextiles and other means, design of shoring systems for utility <br />trenches and other deep excavations, dewatering methodology for trench <br />and backfill procedures. Mr. Wohlfarth also is responsible for reviewing <br />each laboratory test result for concrete, grout, soil and other materials <br />and makes appropriate evaluations of the reports. <br /> <br />His project experience ranges from single family home development to high-rise condominium towers, water <br />treatment plants and waste water treatment plants (WIWWTPs), airports, k-12 and higher educational facilities, <br />and roadways and drainage improvement projects. Lauderdale, FL - Broward County Aviation <br />Department - 4 year qualification based contract; project included a 7 -story 1.3 million square foot <br />parking garage, terminal building, maintenance building, storage building, new entrance bridges <br />over Highway US-1 to double deck terminal, tarmac, associated roadway and major utility <br />relocations. Performed construction materials testing and associated soil laboratory tests; concrete <br />inspection and testing, precast plant inspections, concrete coring, compressive strengths, <br />reinforcement location testing; asphalt sampling and testing.
