Wohlfarth, P.E., will serve as Director of Engineering and Principal in charge for NUTTING ENGINEERS OF FLORIDA, INC. for this project. Mr. Wohlfarth has 19 years experience in various aspects of geotechnical exploration and engineering, construction materials testing and structural inspections. His experience includes determining feasibility of site development, foundation design analysis and recommendations, providing engineering evaluation for bridge and roadway construction, pavement design for roadways, roadway sub grade stabilization by geotextiles and other means, design of shoring systems for utility trenches and other deep excavations, dewatering methodology for trench and backfill procedures. Mr. Wohlfarth also is responsible for reviewing each laboratory test result for concrete, grout, soil and other materials and makes appropriate evaluations of the reports. His project experience ranges from single family home development to high-rise condominium towers, water treatment plants and waste water treatment plants (WIWWTPs), airports, k-12 and higher educational facilities, and roadways and drainage improvement projects. Mr. Wohlfarth has served as Project Manager for multiple government projects and is therefore familiar with their expectations and personnel. Lauderdale, FL - Broward County Aviation Department - 4 year qualification based contract; project included a 7 -story 1.3 million square foot parking garage, terminal building, maintenance building, storage building, new entrance bridges over Highway US-1 to double deck terminal, tarmac, associated roadway and major utility relocations. Performed construction materials testing and associated soil laboratory tests; concrete inspection and testing, precast plant inspections, concrete coring, compressive strengths, reinforcement location testing; asphalt sampling and testing. Services also included many pile load tests for various structures and monitoring the installation of driven and auger cast piles. .
