Residual Solids Assessment and Remediation - EE&G developed a work-plan to remove and
estimated 700,000 to 1,000,000 cubic yards of impacted sediments (containing arsenic, TPH,
and dioxins) deposited neighborhoods from levy breaches and fallout from flood-waters.

. White Goods Management & Decontamination - EE&G is managing the processing of white
goods for Orleans Parish. At it's peak, the facility received 2,000 to 3,000 white goods per day
that need to be environmentally decommissioned and crushed for recycling.

. Curbside Segregation of Special Wastes - EE&G segregated special wastes from the debris
stream to be disposed at a landfill, including suspect friable ACMs, transite, household
hazardous wastes, bulb/ballasts, electronics, compressed gas cylinders, tires, batteries, un-
used ammunition, etc.

Harbour Cove Brownfields Site, Hallandale Beach, Florida
Harbour Cove Associates, Ltd., c/o Alliance Contstruction
Contact: Mr. Frank White (Alliance Construction)
Telephone: (305) 443-2310
Date: 01/04 - present

EE&G was retained by Harbour Cove Associates, Ltd. to provide consulting services associated with
the redevelopment of an affordable housing project on a historic construction and demolition (C&D)
landfill. The site is impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons, phenols, heavy metals and ammonia, which
pose an obstacle to redevelopment. EE&G conducted aSite Assessment, Source Removal activities,
designed a Remedial Action Plan, prepared Health and Safety Plans, Storm Water designs, Dewatering
Plans, and provided Site Preparation consulting. Additionally, EE&G assisted with the Brownfields
Area designation and the preparation of the Brownfields Site Rehabilitation Agreement (BSRA) for
Brownfields Site designation, and the application for Brownfields Tax Credits with the Client's legal
counsel.

EE&G negotiated with the Broward County EPD for an engineering control solution that would facilitate
the approval of a Conditional No Further Action Plan. EE&G also provided Soil Management and
Health & Safety consulting services, and assisted in the installation of sanitary and storm water utilities
during early stages of construction using environmentally-trained technicians.

EE&G has recently completed a 1-year Natural Attenuation Monitoring Plan, and is in the process of
completing the Engineering Control Verification assessment. It is anticipated that the EPD approve the
site for conditional closure, and the FDEP will issue a Site Rehabilitation Completion Order in the Fall of
2007.

11
