The projects included two eight floor structures with 1,000 spaces each, <br />located in Rahway, NJ, as well as two structures on the West Point, PA campus <br />which included approximately 1,850 spaces each, as well as an elevated <br />pedestrian bridge connecting to in-plant access for Merck employees. <br /> <br />Amtrak Intermodal Gateway Structure <br />Philadelphia, PA <br />The Amtrak 30th Street Station parking garage, with 1,525 spaces, <br />accommodates the parking demands of 4 million patrons annually. To <br />accommodate these parking demands as well as a proposed high-rise office <br />building, TimHaahs designed a 1525 space parking facility adjacent to the station. <br />Bearing on steel H-piles straddling numerous on-grade utilities and tunnels, the <br />all-precast concrete ten tier garage has an overhead pedestrian bridge linking the <br />garage elevator core to the station. <br /> <br />College of New Jersey, Armstrong Hall <br />Ewing, NJ <br />The Armstrong Hall Parking garage provided 142 new parking spaces, to serve <br />increasing enrollment. The architecture blends with the campus, and <br />complements the surrounding environment of dense woods and brick buildings. <br /> <br />T. Rowe Price Corporate Campus <br />Owings Mill, MD <br />TimHaahs designed 2 garages to serve the corporate headquarters. The campus <br />environment and aesthetics of the buildings were critically important. The <br />garages were designed and built into a hillside. reducing their presence and <br />creating pedestrian scale. <br /> <br />University Avenue <br />Philadelphia, PA <br />TimHaahs designed this 1,983 space parking structure is located on a site <br />considered to be a major gateway to the University of Pennsylvania and the <br />Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. The structure around existing rail lines, <br />resulted in the attractive curvilinear facade. <br /> <br />MBNA Southern Regional Headquarters Phase II Parking Garage <br />Boca Raton, FL <br />The 499 space employee garage blends into the campus, and features an <br />attractive fa<;:ade. <br /> <br />University of Pennsylvania Site Analysis <br />Philadelphia, PA <br />TimHaahs reviewed and analyzed three prospective sites for the development of <br />a 1,000 space parking structure to serve the University. The chosen options <br />consisted of horizontal expansion to an existing parking structure, and offered the <br />most convenience to pedestrians and motorists. <br />
