To remedy this problem, the State Legislature recently passed a
law which prohibits parking motor vehicles on public streets or highways by unlicensed
parties for the purpose of displaying the motor vehicle for sale. It is important to note that
the new law excludes persons displaying their own vehicles for sale on their own
property and motor vehicle dealers with off-premises sale license. The new law requires
local government to adopt an Ordinance in order to enforce the law locally.

By adopting this Ordinance, the City will have the ability to impose fines and tow
vehicles that are parked in public areas for the purpose of displaying the vehicles for sale.

A TT ACHMENTS:
.
