<br />- <br /> <br />c <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MAGAZINE <br /> <br />Categorized I Music <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest <br /> <br />Published on 05 October 2009 <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest kicks off next weekend <br />with New Orleans' First Family of Funk - The Neville <br />Brothers who will be joined by Robeto Perera and Nicole <br />Henry at Samson Oceanfront Park on Saturday October <br />17 at 7pm, While the Sunny Isles strip has little to offer <br />pedestrians dwarfed by the phalanx of generic new high <br />rises, Saturday's concert should add some much needed <br />warmth to the foreclosure capitol of South Florida. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Proceeds from ticket sales for this year's event will benefit <br />Joshua's Heart Foundation, established to stop hunger by <br />empowering the needy and improving their quality of life. <br />For information about the .Stomp Out Hunger" campaign, <br />log onto joshuasheart.org, A VIP signing of the Jazz Fest poster will take place on Thursday,October 15 at <br />Trump International Beach Resort (18001 Collins Avenue) from 7-9pm with the artist Ed King. <br /> <br />Jazz related events around town also include Aqualina Resort and Spa's Jazz Vibrations and Libations <br />Friday October 16th at 8pm. The Newport Beachside Resort closes out the festivities Sunday with a Jazz <br />Brunch at 11 am featuring Sammy Figueroa and Angela Liano who will perform until 3pm. <br /> <br />Aqualina Resort and Spa is located at 17875 Collins Avenue and Newport Beachside Resort is located at <br />16701 Collins Avenue. The Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest tickets are $25 general admission, rain or shine <br />and guests are encouraged to bring along blankets or lawn chairs. <br /> <br />o <br />
