The weekend of June 1O_13th, 2010 will see <br />professional offshore race teams and fans from allover the World stream into Sunny Isles <br />Beach to get ready for the action packed weekend. With both amateurs and professionals <br />competing in the Bimini Ocean Challenge, the true test to demonstrate skill. The <br />overwhelming success of last year's event sets the stage for this year to be bigger and <br />better, as the premier event to showcase the high perfonnance industry and recreational <br />powerboating. <br /> <br />The Offshore festivities begin Thursday, June 10th at Haulover Park Racers' Village for <br />the Bimini Ocean Challenge registration and an exclusive visit to the Harrison Boat <br />Collection Warehouse for VIP members, which showcase vintage hydroplane boats and <br />outboard engines (compliments of History MIAMI Museum). Friday's "Putting on a <br />Wish" boat rides and auction will benefit the families of the Make a Wish Foundation of <br />Southern Florida. Saturday, June 12th features the Bimini Ocean Challenge in an <br />adrenalin pumping 106 miles round trip of wide open ocean racing! On Sunday, June 13th <br />the OP A Race 2: of the GEICO Offshore Racing Series will be the highlight with a LIVE <br />simulcast via SupercatRacing.com and finally, the closing OPA award ceremony.
