Any employee who becomes aware of an accident involving personnel, equipment <br />or vehicles will immediately notify the nearest supervisor. <br /> <br />c. Personallniurv And Equipment Damaae Reportina <br /> <br />i. Report and Investiaation <br /> <br />In the interest of safe working conditions, all personnel injuries, fires and equipment <br />damage must be reported and investigated. The causes must be determined to plan <br />corrective action to prevent recurrence. <br /> <br />Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that on-the-job personal injuries, regardless of <br />their severity, are reported. Disabling injuries requiring professional medical treatment will <br />be reported to the Operations Manager. <br /> <br />d. Safety Inspection Proaram <br /> <br />SMG will employ an aggressive Safety Inspection Program, to include formal bi-weekly <br />and quarterly safety inspections of work areas. The Operations Manager will maintain <br />overall responsibility for the Safety Inspection Program. <br /> <br />e. Weekly Safety Inspections <br /> <br />The Supervisor will conduct bi-weekly walk down inspections of the work areas. <br /> <br />f. Hazard Materials Communication <br /> <br />All employees are trained in hazardous material handling and identification. SMG <br />provides training in regards to asbestos awareness and reporting. <br /> <br />SMG fully complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200, Hazard Communication, and Florida's <br />right-to-know statute. We maintain a written Hazard Communication Plan. Each new <br />employee will be scheduled for Hazard Communication training as soon as practical, and <br />every employee will receive refresher training annually. Listings of all hazardous <br />materials in use by SMG employees (and the associated MSDS) will be provided to our <br />clients prior to the beginning of the contract work schedule, along with the name of the <br />SMG safety representative. This information will be maintained in the Project Office and <br />the various work areas, and will be kept current by SMG at our corporate office. <br /> <br />11 <br />
